A rebuy shelf is the short list you actually repurchase — not a purity contest. Keep what rinses clean and doesn’t irritate; move what failed; ignore the rest of the aisle.
Checklist
- Pick one wipe, one detergent, one soap/wash that already behaves
- Write the name on a note in the pantry so partners can restock
- When something leaves a film, smell, or rash story — retire it without guilt
- Buy the larger size only after the small one earned a month
- Skip “must-have organic bundles” with five brands you won’t open
Quick table
| Lane | Kept (example logic) | Moved when… |
|---|---|---|
| Wipes | Hold together in the bag | Shred wet / heavy perfume |
| Detergent | Rinses clean on onesies | Leaves film or scent hangover |
| Wash | Gentle on damp skin | Tightness / irritation shows up |
| Snacks (older) | They actually finish it | “Victory flavors” train dinner fights |
Write the names once. Restock half-asleep. That’s the shelf.
